Why trust YOUR OWN STORY to tell your story?

I've produced, filmed, and/or edited interviews with all kinds of people in all kinds of places, from Prince Albert II in the Palace of Monaco to Arnold Schwarzenegger in Hong Kong to my grandfather in the study of his home in Houston (you've already met Frank).

In addition to the experience in guiding interviews and building filming sets in places you'd never expect, I have a knack for seeing what makes people special (even if they don't see it), and I help them bring that to life on film. With a "professionally trained curiosity," I specialize in helping people recognize and share the meaning in their lives — not just the events, but the impacts, the passions, and lessons that they've experienced.

To that end, I've designed a service model to make this experience a warm and exciting trip down memory lane, and a meaningful addition to your life's story.

There Are Dozens Of Reasons To Act Now, And No Good Reason To Wait.

Bring your own story into focus, or gift the experience to someone you love. In either case, it would be an honor for Your Own Story to help.

When I sat down with my grandfather for his interview, I knew that there was a lot that my family and I would get out of it. What I would never have guessed was how much he got out of it.

At first, he was overly humble — unsure why anyone would care about his stories. Reliving story after story, the moments of joy, adventure, and even struggle, he realized along the way just how meaningful those stories were to himself — then he realized that those moments that shaped his life could hold meaning to the rest of us, and he showed the quiet pride and happiness of someone who feels "seen."

That experience showed me how powerful it is not just to preserve someone's story in their own voice, but to help them feel heard, valued, and celebrated for telling it. I've had clients tell me they never felt so special as they did during their interview. I've had their families tell me they felt the impact of journeys and stories that they'd never heard of before.

I've seen the joy it brings, on both sides of the screen.
